The Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina in Viet Nam

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Le Minh Tri, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Luis Pablo María Beltramino, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina in Viet Nam. At the same time, he emphasized that Viet Nam and Argentina have a long-standing traditional friendship; the cooperation between the two countries has been constantly developing since the establishment of diplomatic relations on October 25, 1973.

Recently, with the complicated outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Government of Argentina has donated 500,000 doses of vaccines to Viet Nam; The support of the Government of Argentina has actively contributed to Vietnam's initial successes in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, restoring economic and social activities, and gradually bringing life back to normal state.

Appreciating Argentina's request for the two sides to jointly study, negotiate and sign the Agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters; Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy of Viet Nam, Mr. Le Minh Tri hoped that in the coming time, Mr. Ambassador, as a bridge of cooperation, would continue to make positive and effective contributions to the development of the relationship between the two countries. In addition, supporting the Supreme People's Procuracy and the competent authorities of Argentina to soon connect, promote the negotiation of the Treaty on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and establish a bilateral cooperative relationship between the two Procuracy / Prosecutors’ Office of Viet Nam and Argentina.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Luis Pablo María Beltramino, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina in Vietnam thanked for the enthusiastic welcome of the Leaders of the Supreme People's Procuracy; At the same time, he highly appreciated Vietnam's work in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic over the past years. Mr. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Argentina in Viet Nam affirmed that in his position he will make every effort to promote the good relationship between Argentina and Viet Nam to continue to develop in all fields.
